How do I find a birdwatching guide?
Use the Find Guides page to search by name, location, or bird specialties. You can also explore guides on the Interactive Map.
Can I save my favorite guides?
Yes. After creating an account and signing in, you can save guides to your My Favorites list and access them from your dashboard.
Is there a mobile app for Birdguides.io?
Birdguides.io is currently a responsive web platform available on mobile and tablet. A dedicated mobile app may come later.

How do I become a guide on Birdguides.io?
Click Become a Guide in the main navigation or footer. The page explains benefits and links directly to guide registration.
What is the pricing for guides?
The first 6 months are free. Then choose a plan: Local Bird Guide (EUR 19/year, 1 location), Multi-Destination Guide (EUR 48/year, up to 5 destinations), or Tour Operator (EUR 85/year, up to 20 destinations).
How do I manage my profile, availability, and bookings?
After registration you get access to the Guide Dashboard to update your profile, manage gallery photos, define specialties, and follow analytics.
What kind of support do you offer to guides?
Support is available via Help and Support in the Guide Dashboard, including FAQs and contact options for personalized assistance.

Where does the bird list data come from?
The checklist and taxonomy are based on AviList v2025, a global avian checklist designed to harmonize names and taxonomy.
Where can I find information about specific bird species?
Use Regional Birds and search tools in Find Guides or Interactive Map to discover guides specialized in species or regions.
How accurate is the bird data on the platform?
Bird data is based on AviList v2025 for strong taxonomy accuracy. We continue improving data and plan deeper integrations over time.
Can I contribute bird sightings or photos to Birdguides.io?
Community contribution features are planned. Guides can already showcase photos in their galleries.
How does the platform help identify rare or endemic species?
Use advanced filters for Rare species or Endemic species, plus Ornithological Zones on the Interactive Map to locate hotspots.
